Hammond organ, guitar and drums, a special trio with three quirky French top musicians, who already have their own punishment course and now debut together as Clover Trio. Drummer Benoist Raffin played with saxophonist Steve Potts, is part of the quartet of singer Pierre de Trégomain, and Healing Unit of Paul Wacrenier. Raffin, pupil of Daniel Humair and Simon Goubert, seeks out nuance, phrasing and swing such as his drum heroes Max Roach, Elvin Jones and Roy Haynes.

Damien Argentieri, as a pianist and organist, attended both classical and jazz studies at the Lyons Conservatoire and moved to Paris in 2001. He already has some trio albums to his name and recorded with Sylvain Beuf Mondes Parallèles and played with Lionel Loueke and Didier Lockwood.

Guitarist Sébastien Lanson spent 8 years on the West Coast of the US where he recorded with the Stanford Jazz Orchestra and Louie Bellson and was also a teacher at the Stanford Jazz Workshop. He toured worldwide in many formations and very different projects, where he played with Jon Faddis, Bobby Hutcherson, Billy Higgins and John L. Worley to name a few.

In this album Harvest these three musicians find each other to improvise swinging and groovy on hits like Is not She Lovely (Stevie Wonder) and Imagine (John Lennon) but also jazz standards like Softly As In A Morning Sunrise (Romberg / Hamerstein) and Played Twice (T.Monk). Lanson signs for two, Raffin also two and Argentieri for three original numbers.

Clover Trio reveals itself with Harvest to a unique four-leaf clover, the successful crop of a spicy infectious groove by Hammond organ (Argentieri) about the melodic straight riffs of guitar (Lanson) and the cool, finely nuanced drum beats (Raffin).
