Funk, Jazz-Funk | MP3 CBR 320 kbps | 57:03 min | ~131 MB
Label: Dunose Production | Tracks: 15 | Rls.date: 2014

Highly supported by French avant-guard radio Nova, Chlorine free, amongst bands such as General Elektriks, Electro Deluxe or Snarky Puppy does play a Funk-Jazz without any complexes and nostalgy, claiming their belonging to 21st century. Le Fish, second album from this french Funk-Jazz collective is a real optimistic and fresh issue and does represent a proof of the band’s know-how and energy, between science of groove (funk influences), freedom and virtuosity of solos (jazz influences) and a real work and experiment on production (electronic influences).
This record does actually represent the sum of influences of all the musicians, aged 30, completely bitten by Oscar Peterson, Money Jungle, Vinyl culture, vintage and crafted sounds, CTI records, all the jazz-funk movement inspired by Herbie Hancock and The Headhunters, new beatmakers such as Flying Lotus, Dre, Miguel Atwood Fergusson, Great Black Music in general and also innovative electronic music with labels such as Ninja Tunes and Warp as main references. Whatever, producing Start Fresh has been a real music lover affair.
