I want to share with you this cool musical experiment. Vaghissima sembianza" was the first attempt to re-orchestrate an original Caruso's 78 RPM recording, with very nice results. This time the effort is
enormous: extract the voice, remaster it, and match the audio band with a symphonic orchestra! 70
musicians with earphones.
Check the track #7, Halévy's "Rachel quand du Seigneur", this is one of my favorites, an impressive
example of Caruso's "voce di testa" sound.
In the last track you can hear Paglicci's most famous aria in its original state to compare. I hope you
enjoy this album.
