Collection Printemps des Arts de Monte-Carlo - Zig-Zag Territoires Gli Incogniti : a taste for unknown in every form : experimentation of sounds, search of new repertoire, rediscovery of "classics" Amandine Beyer, Alba Roca, Flavio Losco violons, Marta Paramo alto, Marco Cecatto violoncelle, Baldomero Barciela violone, Anna Fontana clavecin

To approach such < masterpieces > of the cantor, Amandine Beyer and the Gli Incogniti were inspired by the spirit of this venitian academy :

Unprejudiced, their approach was settled on 3 main questions: The repertoire : two concerts for violin were found in their original form BWV 1041 et BWV 1042, two others - BWV1052,1056 - appear as harpsichord with idiomatic style at the violin which makes it worth playing them at the violin. The type of concert : italian scheme (Tutti/Soli) leave the place to polyphonic writting very complex and organised which Gli Incogniti pursued to make it earable. Size of the group: writing and numerous evidences make think that concerts were played with one player for each part, choice made by the Gli Incogniti.

" < Our goal was to give < movement and life : multiple, short and changing > to these master pieces >
–Amandine Beyer. "

" 'Majestic, gossamer, hypnotic. Perfect in every inflection of the phrasing, which the young soloist sculpts with a sense of space, magnificently served by the recorded sound.'
–Pierre Gervasoni, Le Monde, 24 May 2005 "
