Selva Erdener - Sen Sen Sen (2001)

Born in Ankara, started her first music education by the encouragement of Mrs. Muzeyyen Demirci and Mrs. Inci Dincer during her primary school years. Having completed her pre-bachelor’ s degree at Gazi University, Music Education School, she entered the Hacettepe University, State Conservatory in Ankara. There, she studied voice with Nurdan Ozar, Lied&Oratorio with Mufide Ozguc. She started her career at the State Opera and Ballet Company in Ankara as a soloist. Her repertoire includes the title roles of the operas; “Cosi Fan Tutte”, “Zaide”, “Don Giovanni”, “The Magic Flute”, “Faust”, “La Boheme”, “I Pagliacci”, “The Merry Widow”, “Ali Baba”, “Istanbulname”. At the State Opera, she attended voice lessons of Mr. Roman Verlinsky and Mrs. Lidia Pronina. She was invited to Moscow Radio Symphony, Presidential Symphony (Ankara), Isatnbul, Izmir, Antalya, Cukurova Symphony orchestras, DESO (Izmir), Hacettepe University Symphony Orchestra, C.R.R. Symphony (Istanbul) as a guest soloist. She recorded the original compositions and Turkish Folk Tune arrangements by Turgay Erdener (Sen, sen, sen..) for the CD, produced by Kalan Music Company. She also sung the soprano solo on the CD recording of the Ballet “Afife” by Turgay Erdener with the Moscow Radio Symphony Orchestra. Besides Turkey, she was invited to; U. S. A., Denmark, Hungary, Macedonia, Estonia, Syria, Tadjikistan and Northern Cyprus. She gave voice lessons at Ankara University, State Conservatory for three successive years. She is currently an artist of the State Opera and Ballet Company in Ankara.
