    Since there's so much interest in photographic stuff, here is the complete collection of Underwater Photography mag (2001-2005). UP is an online FREE magazine, available for download to anyone who registers (no cost). I just collected the issues here. You'll find tests of the usual (film) U/w cameras, tests on new digital equipment, waterproof housings, and of course tips & techniques for this especially difficult kind of activity...
