Star Wars: Dark Empire was a six-issue limited series published bimonthly in 1991 and 1992, trade paperback published in 1993. It is part of a trilogy of comic limited series produced by Dark Horse Comics, set in the Star Wars galaxy, and entitled Dark Empire, Dark Empire II and Empire's End.
