A simple plan.
When Spider-Man is pulled away from his life as Peter Parker and coerced into the service of S.H.I.E.L.D., he comes to realize the government asset he has been sent to recover is none other than Wolverine.
Wolverine's capture and torture are broadcast to unknown locations around the world, and the two heroes quickly realize that what seemed like a simple rescue mission has now turned into a matter of national security. With help from both S.H.I.E.L.D. and the X-Men, Spidey and Wolverine find themselves tangled in a government conspiracy and thrust into an adventure that spans three continents.
