The Guide Istanbul - September/October 2018

We all like to take trips down memory lane: to reminisce about the “good old times,” recall exciting events of the past, and revisit familiar places in our mind. What we know from childhood is the core of our comfort zone, affecting our adulthood in many different ways.

With this in mind, we present our “Nostalgic Issue,” in which we hope to bring back as many happy memories of Istanbul as possible. The theme focuses on what’s personal and dear to our hearts, with the aim of avoiding yet another conversation about how “things are not what they used to be.” Instead, we want to appreciate all the good that the past has given us, and understand why we miss it.
