CONTENTS:
* THE 75mm HOWITZER MOTOR CARRIAGE, T3, by Jeffrey McKaughan. (A 1940 self-propelled artillery vehicle prototype made at Aberdeen Proving Ground in 1939-1940, based on the M1 combat car. Delivered to the 1st Cavalry Regiment, it participated in the 1940 Louisiana maneuvers. It validated the SP concept even though the M1 chassis was too small for this system to go into production.)
* THE OBICE DA 75/13 LONG-SERVING ITALIAN MOUNTAIN HOWITZER, by Adam Geibel. (Skoda 1915 model taken from Austria as war reparations in the 1920s; also manufactured by the Italians, and served in Africa, the Balkans, and into the 1950s.)
* NEW WHEELS FOR THE SAS? by Jeffrey McKaughan. (Alvis Shadow police and security vehicle shown at the Defence Exposition South Africa in 1995. Of course, the SAS "cannot confirm or deny".)
* PANTHER PILLBOX, by Will Frederick. (Static turret emplacement in Italy in WWII.)
* AUSTRALIAN GRANT DOZER TANKS, by Paul Handel. (Dozer, Grant 111 (Aust.), No. 1 Mkl. Landed at Morotai with the 2/1st Armoured Brigade Reconnaissance Squadron in 1945.)
* PANZERKAMPFWAGEN 38(t) n.A. by Thomas Jentz. (1942 bid to make a reconnaissance vehicle for the German army based on the Czech Pz.Kpfw.38(t). Includes a photo of the Fuhrer himself clambering over the turret. Not accepted, perhaps due to inferior range and high fuel consumption.)
* SEMOVENTE DA 47/32 ANSALDO FIAT L6, by Steve Zaloga. (Favorable review of CRI.EL's imported plastic model kit of this small assault gun.)
