The fifth edition of BAZAAR Art celebrates the ties that bind fashion and art in today's world of creativity. A Viktor & Rolf masterpiece fronts the book in a shot taken in Paris, where the designer duo showed their second haute couture collection that was so sculptural and surreal, models looked as if they had just stepped out of a Van Gogh painting. We also speak to the doyenne of fashion illustration, David Downton about his storied 20-year journey and the launch of World's Most Stylish Women, a glossy tome featuring artworks of fabulous femmes in film and fashion. This, on top of a feature where we commissioned 8 artists to create artworks inspired by different spring/summer 2016 collections and of course, a gallery of masterpieces by Harper's BAZAAR's Art Prize Awards nominees. On the digital exclusive front, we visit the home of Whitney Museum founder, Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney.
