Welcome to the June edition of Creature Companion!
In this issue, we celebrate ‘International Adopt-a-Cat’ month by bringing you a variety of stories from Cat breeds, how to train them, what they’re trying to tell you, illnesses and of course, why they make a suitable pet.

Cats have been domesticated for nearly 10,000 years. The timeline reminds me of Egypt; cats were praised as much as gods there… and why shouldn’t they be? They exhibit personalities almost similar to humans. Why do cats always seem to head for the one person in the room who doesn't like them? Probably because cats think they really do: people who don't like cats tend to avoid looking at them, and cats interpret averted eyes as unthreatening, even inviting. Mysterious little ones!
