An unashamed celebration, our Autumn issue steps forward into the lanes and changes of our developing city. We chat to Ballantynes’ Emerging Designer Winner Millie Pux-Askew about her new collection, take a look over some of the art pieces from The Central Art Gallery and talk to the gallery’s director Jonathan Smart. We get the low-down on what’s happening in the life of Kiwi songstress Theia and have a yarn to our resident Account Manager, Derek Thorp, about his buzzing new business, Bespoked Cycles. We give a nod to the wave of nostalgia sweeping the world, rounding up all the trends from the 80s and 90s that are making a fierce comeback, plus we toast to the rave days and chat with the lads who are bringing the noise (of the techno variety) back to the city. Mike Percasky, Kris Inglis and Richard Peebles let us in on the bustling new development, Riverside Market, and we scope out the photography talent of Olivia Spencer-Bower who has been snapping the progress of the Town Hall. We tap into the good citizens around the city who can help with ensuring our mind, body and spirit are at peace and in good health, live vicariously through travel blogger Justine Tyerman who takes on an exciting trip to Morocco, sit down with ‘Summer of ’69’ crooner Bryan Adams and of course, bring you what’s hot in cuisine, events, home and couture.
