As French President Emmanuel Macron arrives in India for his second meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the timing could not have been better. With both economies soaring high and doing well, the meeting is expected to bring further strategic inferences that will benefit the two countries.
The French President will be attending the founding ceremony of the International Solar Alliance on Sunday in New Delhi, inaugurating a solar energy project in Uttar Pradesh. The visit is also crucial in terms of reinforcing Indo-French relations in multiple domains – ranging from strategic and defence ties to cultural and business. If successful, this will transform the face of Indo-French bilateral business relations, that was long due.
