Our 4th issue is full of interesting personalities, some famous, some just breaking through.
Daniel Wanrooy, our Cover Feature artist, has been producing his brand of Trance music for a few years now and we give you insight to the road he has taken to become one of of the industry’s success stories.
For our other feature articles, we give you Flux Pavilion, a well known DNB artist with a relatively new release and GRiZ, a purveyor of what he calls Future Funk. GRiZ, in particular, was a very interesting artist to write about, as he's involved with philanthropy, weed cultivation and producing kick ass funk infused dance music.
We also profile Phil Gerus, a Moscow based DJ with an infinity for Jazz, AFFKT, Markee Ledge, and Flavor Waster, a DC area outfit that is gaining popularity with their unique sound of electronic pop music.
For this issue’s Label Watch, we put the spotlight on L.A.’s Play Me Records led by DJ Reid Speed.
And finally, Ludovic Navarre aka St. Germain has released his first new LP in 15 years on the Nonesuch label. It kicks off the 20 new releases reviewed inside.
