For the next issue of Australian Country we’ve been on the road again, starting in Queensland where we visit a family in their hilltop hideaway in the Bunya Mountains and another in their gorgeous Queenslander in the historic heart of Ipswich. We’ve a divine take on vintage from Victoria, a quick trip across Bass Strait to visit the Burbury family at their historic Bowsden homestead in Tasmania and a big detour to WA to catch up with wine industry veteran David Hohnen, who these days farms pigs and makes smallgoods. Our fashion story looks to the garden for inspiration and we take the road less travelled in a story about the Backroads Trail along the NSW side of the Murray River from Echuca-Moama. Our recipe feature focuses on the delights of plums, we have more seasonal treats from the Fox Hill Farm cooking school in the NSW Southern Highlands and our service feature focuses on accessories and accoutrements for entertaining. So be sure to join us for the next issue, on sale February 2.
