"Los Vidrios Quebrados" was a precursor of the Chilean rock band, formed in 1964. They had influence of British bands like The Rolling Stones, The Yardbirds and The Beatles.

First formed under the name of "The Lawyers", Álvaro Larraín, Héctor Sepúlveda Cristián Larraín and Juan Enrique Garcés (the first two law students at the Catholic University of Chile, Cristian Larraín of medicine at the same UC and Garces Engineering State Technical University) began presenting reversals Anglo bands songs. Álvaro Larraín to withdraw the group became the trio "Los Cuervos"

In 1966 Juan Mateo O'Brien joins the group and renamed "Los Vidrios Quebrados". They participated with great success at the First Song UC Festival held in the Nataniel Theater in Santiago, and thus obtained a recording contract for EMI Odeon, recording their first single.

The following year they recorded for UES Productions their first and only album, entitled "Fictions", with which they achieved great popularity, participating in television programs on young people.

The group separated after Juan Mateo O'Brien decided to settle in Paris in 1968, Héctor Sepúlveda in London in 1969 and Juan Enrique Garcés in Stockholm that year. Sepúlveda later would return to Chile in 1971 to form the jazz-rock group New Directions.
