How would you describe yourself in a few words?
I would describe myself as bubbly, quirky, and….. accidentally sexy.
How long have you been a model?
I’ve been modeling off and on my entire life. I was a pageant queen as a kid and did a bunch of modeling for magazines and catalogs.
How did you get into modelling?
The first time my mother of course, lol and the most recent time rebuilding my brand in Atlanta, GA has been only a few months.
How was your first shooting? Tell us a bit about that first experience.
Since I’ve been doing this for quite some time I don’t remember the very first, but my first shoot here in Atlanta that was for a magazine was interesting. I shot with a great photographer Cam Perry or @shotbycam on IG and we went to this abandoned green house. I didn’t realize I was so sweet till we started shooting and I ended up with over 30 mosquito bites all over. The shoot was fantastic and we got some amazing shots but I remember being at home the next day feeling like I just walked out of poison ivy lol
What does modelling mean to you?
To me, modeling is this great balance of beauty, expression, creativity and also, quite humbling. You get these beautiful photos that you want to share with the world but at the same time people tear it apart and can say some very mean things. Modeling to me is confidence, passion, and love of beauty and art.
A model you particularly admire?
There are so many talented models so it’s hard to pick just one. But something I admire about all those great models are their work ethic and time they put into their craft. It is and can be a lucrative and exciting career but it definitely has to be taken seriously when it’s game time ;)
If you could choose, where would you like to shoot?
Omg In New Zealand!
What is your dressing style in everyday life?
Definitely workout clothes or anything with leggings lol I love comfort but being able to throw on heels for the night.
If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
Europe! I think I was born in the wrong country.
What is happiness?
There’s this great quote I saw once that said the secret to happiness is letting every situation be what it is, instead of what you think it should be. To that means to live in every moment. Soak in the good times and the learn from the bad; happiness can be an entire life’s journey.
Where can we find you on a Friday night?
Mardi Gras! It’s a club in Atlanta ;)
What’s your next goal?
To work on myself and get uncomfortable in my career. My mentors always told be that all the magic happens just outside our comfort zones, which is why I branched out and will be acting soon, starting with a short film written and directed by James Grabowski. It’s called the Affair and I get to play a picture perfect A.I. humanoid!
