Melania Trump (born Melanija Knavs, April 26, 1970) is the First Lady of the United States, married to the President of the United States, Donald Trump. Trump, a Slovene American, was previously a model and businesswoman; by 2016 she considered herself a "full-time mom."

Born in Slovenia, then part of Yugoslavia, Trump became a permanent resident of the United States in 2001 and a citizen in 2006. She is the second foreign-born First Lady of the United States, following Louisa Adams in 1825.
