Ivonne Armant (16 January 1974, Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico) is a Mexican glamour model and actress. Armant is the granddaughter of the famous spaniard tenor Plácido Domingo. Her mother is the mexican child actress María Gracia and her biological father is José Dominguez, Plácido Domingo's first son. Her stepfather is José Ángel Iglesias.

Mother revealed her true parentage when she was 15 years old. Until then, she was under the impression that her step-father was her biological father. 'Armant' is her ex-husband's last name. After separating, she liked it so much that she decided to keep it as her artistic name.

Ivonne started her career to the fifteen years old. Her first modeling job was a commercial for Ricolino candies. Shortly after her initiation, Ivonne booked bit parts on a few popular Mexican soap operas. First Mexican to appear in a pictorial in Playboy in the United States. She won the 2nd edition of Big Brother V.I.P. in Spain, known as "Gran hermano VIP: El desafío" in 2004. She was awarded 60,000 euros, or about US $81,000. She was selected by the Spanish television audience with 62% of the vote as the winner of the reality show after living and competing against other celebrities for 3 months in the same household.

When 26-year-old Ivonne Armant submitted her photos to Playboy, we were more than willing to feature the curvy Latina beauty. Imagine our surprise when Armant later revealed that her grandfather is world-famous operatic tenor Placido Domingo. "I didn't tell anyone until after my pictures were accepted," she says. "I got it on my own, and I like that."
