It’s called Soccer Manager, is from Fizz Software, and is a football management game a la Championship Manager / Football Manager.I am crushed that it will not run for me under my current 3.0 Beta 3 version of the iPhone OS – one of the very, very few apps that will not run on the current beta, and it is one I want to check out so badly. I’ve been playing Championship Manager / Football Manager (and its lamely named US version) for many years and have spent ridiculous, shameful amounts of hours playing them, had conversations with myself about team selection in the shower, and found myself saying things like ‘when he played for me at Arsenal’ when talking about a player in a televised match at the pub after grueling all-night sessions with these games.
