Sam is back and with a bang like never before!! Help Sam take up the fight against his arch-nemesis Mental. Sam hijacks an alien aircraft to confront Mental but somehow crash lands in the South American Mountains. Now Sam is forced to battle his way towards Mental’s fortress and put a stop once and for all to his plans of world domination but this is not easy as you have to face a stronger, meaner Mental army.Following in the tradition of the first Serious Sam HD, The Second Encounter features all the insane action of the original game but with visuals vastly upgraded for more powerful plaforms. Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter also features an all new Co-Op Tournament mode that will allow teams to compete with one another.

Game Features:
* Unique enemies and bosses: Fight with 27 nightmarish warriors in Mental's army, including old favorites from The First Encounter like Beheaded Kamikaze, Syrian Werebull, and Kleer Skeleton. Go head-to-head against five new enemies and three new bosses.
* Special weapons and power-ups: Wreak havoc with a huge arsenal of weapons including three new toys, the Sniper Rifle, Flamethrower and Chainsaw. Use power-ups to additionally increase your fighting and agility skills.
* Various environments and secrets: Unleash mayhem on three different spectacular worlds, South America, ancient Mesopotamia, and medieval Europe. Discover over 130 secrets including over 15 brand new ones hidden in the fray.
* Multiple game modes: Play co-op with up to 8 players in campaign cooperative mode or the new Co-Op Survival mode, try eight classic and brand-new Deathmatch maps, stay alive as long as you can in specially designed Survival maps, fight against your friends in more Versus modes including Beast Hunt and My Burden, or compete against other teams in team matches including Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag and Last Team Standing.
