When a couple gives birth to their 13th child, the father ventures out to find a godfather to raise the boy. In fact, Death helps him to become a famous doctor, armed with knowledge regarding which patients could be saved and which could not. When the man falls in love with a girl that Death is about to claim, he tricks his godfather into sparing her life…
