    Официальное мини-дополнение Fallout 3: Operation Anchorage рассчитано примерно на 4-5 часов геймплея и представляет из себя военный симулятор с элементами стелса. Игроку предстоит освободить город Анкоридж от вторжения китайских коммунистов. Игроку станут доступны новые виды вооружения, новая броня, новые навыки.
    Загружаемый контент для Fallout 3 разбит на три самостоятельных эпизода, которые будут выходить раз в месяц, начиная с января. В феврале будет выпущено дополнение "The Pitt". Здесь игрокам предстоит исследовать руины промышленных районов города Питтсбурга. Спустя еще месяц появится дополнение - "Broken Steel". В третьей части Братство Стали продолжит противостояние против Анклава после завершения сюжетной линии Fallout 3.

In Operation: Anchorage you will re-live the epic Battle of Anchorage from Fallout lore. Find your way into the simulation, stripped of resources, and survive within the rules set up by the simulation’s creators. The Chinese red army is everywhere, so secure the surrounding mountain side and fight your way into the Chinese base.
