In this course, Security Analysis: Vulnerability Analysis and Assessment, you will learn the basics of vulnerability scanning to secure your organization’s systems and networks against cyber threats.
This introductory course will first show you the difference between unauthenticated and authenticated scans of target systems. You will then learn how to use simple, existing tools to track and monitor changes to critical files and directories. Next, you will create a network baseline by scanning through a widely popular tool and interpreting the results. Finally, you will run a whitebox scan on a target system, specifically targeting known vulnerabilities, and interpret the results.
After completing this course, you will have basic vulnerability scanning skills to protect your organization’s IT assets.
