Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, Agha Saleem, "Melody of Clouds"

It is a matter of pride and pleasure for the Rotary Club Karachi Clifton District 3270 (Pakistan) that it is bringing out the English and Urdu translation of the poem Melody of Clouds of Shah Abdul Lateef Bhittai, the great mystic poet of universal love and peace. The mechanical and mertricious culture we are living in has turned our hearts into, to use T.S. Eliot’s phrase, a wasteland. This wasteland can bloom into a paradisiacal garden with spiritual poetry like that of Shah Abdul Lateef Bhittai. We hope that, the purpose with which we are publishing this book will be accomplished and this book will contribute to instill love for humanity in our hearts.
