Guitarist, vocalist, and bandleader, the multi-faceted John Pizzarelli has established himself as one of jazz music's brightest new stars. Son of legendary jazz guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli, John was exposed to the music of Erroll Garner, Les Paul, and Django Reinhardt at a young age, and began playing with his father at age 20. Though he's just 49 years old now, John has already recorded 21 albums, including the recent releases Dear Mr. Sinatra, Generations (a duo album with his father), and With a Song in My Heart.In late 2008, John recorded his first instructional jazz guitar video, Exploring Jazz Guitar (Hal Leonard). He also recently added "radio program host" to his extensive resume with the launch of "Radio Deluxe with John Pizzarelli," a nationally syndicated radio program co-hosted with his wife, Broadway star and singer Jessica Molaskey.
