Warbird Profile No.1: A-26 B/C Invader

The original USAAF Specifications called for a multi purpose attack aircraft that would be faster than the B-26 Marauder, would carry a greater bomb capacity than the B-25 Mitchell and be more manoeuvrable than the A-20 Havoc. The result was the A-26 Invader, a more powerfull, faster and more devastating warmachine than it's predecessors it was destined to replace.
