Description
The course goes through Old Testament sacrifices that people made and how they point to the ultimate sacrifice. Jesus is our ultimate sacrifice. These men sacrificed their emotions, their family and most of all their devotion to God to offer their sacrifices to God. Their sacrifices lead us to God and him covering us with His love and mercy and forgiving our sins once and for all. We are called to be a living sacrifice daily as we are called to be devoted to God. The Old Testament followed these sacrificial offerings but yet they would still carry the guilt and shame of what they had done wrong on their shoulders, but Christ comes to free you of any of the guilt once and for all.  As Christians we are not to walk in ways that lead us to the cross, but that leads us to the greatest atonement.  We talk about Cain and how he killed Abel, Abraham offering his son Isaac, The three Hebrew children and Daniel. Throughout the Bible we see how the sacrifices lead us to our Redeemer! God is the one true God and he alone deserves our worship! Despite decrees or anything that is put on you by any law, you have to make up in your mind what kind of sacrifice you will make.
