The Sixth Day in June

As the morning sun climbs above the horizon, the Normandy coast awakes to the sight of the greatest invasion fleet ever assembled.

Thousands of ships stand poised before the shore, their guns trained on the defences of Hitler’s Atlantic Wall.

The Allies, after years of waiting, are about to return to France.
