Description
Rewind Therapy for TraumaMaybe you have clients who are suffering from PTSD or similar symptoms.Maybe you would like to help people who have suffered trauma, you might already know someone who needs help with trauma. Whatever your reason is for being here I hope you’ll find this training informative and useful just as I did when I first trained. The Rewind is different from other imaginal exposure therapies because no details are disclosed to the therapist, hence the treatment is known as “closure without disclosure”The method within this course has been used with hundreds of clients, accomplishing fantastic results allowing the client to move forward, ceasing flashbacks and night terrors and bringing normality back to their lives.Successful in treating veterans for PTSD.Childhood TraumaSexual AbuseDomestic ViolenceVehicle AccidentsAny near death experienceFor Victims or OnlookersThere are various versions of Rewind Therapy and it comes under the guise of different names. The rewind technique, also known as the fast phobia cure, evolved from the technique developed by Richard Bandler one of the co-founders of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). He called it the VK dissociation technique (the V stands for visual and the K for kinaesthetic — feelings). For those of you that have met or seen Richard Bandler you would understand why I wouldn't even dream of trying to claim this method as my own!John's version has been updated to account for modern technology advancements, sex discrimination and equality. Although other versions may still work perfectly well John felt that they were a little outdated. This training course includes all the material you need to integrate Rewind Trauma Therapy into your existing practice or maybe just to help someone who has been suffering from a traumatic event.Included within the course is a manual and all documents required.A live session is also included where you will see an actual Rewind session being carried out.
