About Instructor
I am Aleksandar Marić and will guide you throughout this course.
I am a former Military Officer with a background in Security, Logistics, and Supply Chain who also attended the SSO Course and worked as a Security Personnel on a ship.
My job during my career was to deal with both safety and security, and two major positions in my career were a Training Manager and a Logistics and Supply Chain Manager. As I am interested in Security within the Supply Chain, particularly container transport, I had to start doing things internationally. So, I rolled up my sleeves and went to Germany, where I gained my first experience in container transport within the trucking industry. After that, I took an SSO course too (and many others) and went on board a container ship. I got a totally new point of view and extended my knowledge, this time with maritime security.
Now, when I take a look back, I see again that knowledge and following of Regulations and Procedures is what will save people in most cases.
I was trained in Security (Military academy).
Then, I gained experience in security area.
Now, I share my experience with you.
