Hello, hello! I’m happy that you are joining me in this class to paint some beautiful and magical watercolor Christmas plant elements.
In this class, I will show you how to draw and paint three simple Christmas plant illustrations - poinsettia, holly berries and spruce cones. We will be using simple watercolor techniques, so it’s absolutely beginner friendly!
I first go through with you the supplies, and show you how to draw our subject matters. Then I introduce the colors that I’m using for each illustration, how to prepare the watercolor before painting, and the basic techniques needed to work on our projects.
Then comes the fun part - painting the three Christmas plant elements! You’ll learn how to build up the colors layer by layer to create colorful and delicate-looking watercolor art pieces.
At the end of the class, you’ll have this beautiful triptych that can be used as Christmas cards or framed art.
What's more to wait? Let’s get started! :)
