This short course has been created to guide IELTS Test Takers to focus on the key points necessary to score well in the exam. While the candidates aiming to achieve a high score with their first attempt will benefit from the relevant knowledge provided in the course, the candidates aiming to improve their writing score will be able to identify the learning gaps. They will learn how to use their strengths to the best of their benefit. In this course, IELTS candidates will learn about the format of the IELTS test, the various types of Writing Tasks 1 & 2, the writing process to present a well- structured writing piece, and the marking criteria used by IELTS examiners to award a score/band. Understanding the above topics helps candidates write with confidence in the exam. It is a useful guide for test takers who do not have much time for taking IELTS preparation courses. You will know all you need to know to score 7+ in the IELTS Academic Writing exam.The course is presented in simple language for the benefit of learners at a Beginner/Intermediate level of English. Please remember this is not an English Writing course, but an IELTS Writing test preparation course for ESL learners.
