Encyclopedia of Lunar Astronomy : Volume I

The History of Lunar Astronomy deals with all those exciting developments and advances related to the knowledge and understanding of the Moon in all its essence and nature, developments that were achieved throughout the different historical periods and that made it possible to finally reach a high degree of knowledge in the field of Lunar Astronomy. My fundamental purpose in this text is for the reader to discover and assimilate these developments. Likewise, the work aims to answer the basic question: How was it possible to achieve so much knowledge about our satellite?
