Among the historical decisions reached that day was to unite the bombing arms of the RAF and the USAAF in order to weaken Hitler’s army. With the aim of significant destruction of the German military, industry, economy and morale, the Casablanca Directive saw Churchill and Roosevelt’s armies raining down bombs over major German cities.
