Description
How much have you actively thought about your career? And how have you approached your career development so far? For many of us, we haven't, or have only done so haphazardly. Some of you may have put some thought in, or even started planning out your career. But have you started the right way? Have you used an Awareness Based Career Development (ABCD)? And what do we mean by "awareness based" approach to career development? This course will help both explain the critical importance of having a solid basis for your career planning and development as well as provide a structured methodology for doing so. Gaining an understanding of how self-awareness is essential to building a successful career, and will be reinforced as part of your learning.
Lessons are engaging and full of real-life stories to assist in the knowledge transfer. Learn the ABCDs of career and the detailed model of RACE-N (RFLECT, ASSESS, CHOOSE, EXECUTE, and NAVIGATE). This course provides you with a systematic approach to building your successful career, using a relatable and casual conversational approach, mixed with more formal lessons, and a participant workbook that will help facilitate your learning and application in your real world career development.
