Description

In this course, we will discuss the Key Performance Indicator (KPI), which is a measurable value that demonstrates how effectively a network is serving the user. This Measurable entity can be decided in terms of Downlink and Uplink throughput, Latency, Call setup time, bearer drop rate, etc. 5G is a next-generation technology and has mainly three use cases like Enhanced Mobile Broadband (eMBB), Ultra-reliable low latency communication (uRLLC) & Massive Internet of Things (Massive IoT). So it is expected that there will be a new matrix to major the network KPIs and it is going to be a challenge for the network operators to defining them. Besides that, we will discuss various KPI's which have to be constantly monitored in order to keep KPIs in agreed units with mobile operators. But if we try to categorize from the top, these KPI will under the following categories.Accessibility: In 5G, successful registration for network slices is an indication of moving to UERetainability : number of QoS flows with data in a bufferIntegrity: the degree to which a service is rendered without excessive loss.Utilization: mean number of KPI PDU sessions that are successfully established in the network slice instance.(3GPP TS 28.554 version 15.2.0 Release 15 &  Release 16 are taken as reference)
