This book will provide you with a step-by-step set of instructions that I have narrowed down to its simplest form, from methods I learned over the years.

That's the good news, the bad news is that this particular book won't apply to every situation or every type of stairway. I've designed this book to help professionals as well as do-it-yourselfers build straight stairs.

My goal in writing these books will be to simplify the art of stair building and reduce or eliminate some or all of the frustration with a simplified process that will provide everyone with the fundamentals, to complete a construction project that can often be viewed as difficult or near impossible for the average do-it-yourselfer.
