'To me, one of the tricky things about HANA technology is that the way you consume it causes your development experience to differ quite a bit. For example, your experience developing native HANA apps on-premise or in the cloud on SAP Cloud Platform is very different from developing data-centric apps on ABAP-based systems (e.g. SAP S/4 HANA). For me, this book does a great job of illustrating how HANA functionality can be accessed from ABAP. For a 600-page book, it reads very nicely and is organized in such a way that you can use it as both a learning guide and cookbook. The authors do a nice job of covering a wide variety of topics while also providing lots of practical advice/examples. If you're an ABAP developer interested in getting up to speed with HANA, I cannot recommend this book highly enough.'
