The Cruiser: Bartolomeo Colleoni (Anatomy of the Ship)

With a trial speed of nearly 40 knots "Bartolomeo Colleoni" was arguably the fastest cruiser ever built, but was only one of a series of such ships - known as the 'Condottieri' type - built by the Italian Navy between the wars to counter the large French super-destroyers.
