California Mathematics Grade 5

After going through the first lesson in this book today, my daughter was actually smiling and showing off what she learned (this has not been our experience with Saxon). My daughter went to bed tonight listing all the prime numbers between 1 and 100 just for fun! There are some great features that come with this text including online interactive materials, glossary, practice tests, and assessment tools built right into the student text (yay! no extra books to keep track of!). The text uses some really wonderful factual tidbits about California in the applied math problems and is overall a very well-rounded and useful math curriculum.
