Description
Shaun 'CADjedi' Bryant is an Autodesk Certified Instructor (ACI) and Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP). He is also a member of the Autodesk Expert Elite program. Shaun has taught thousands of AutoCAD users all over the world, and is a world-class speaker, teaching classes at Autodesk University since 2006.
In this course, Shaun takes you through the fundamentals of the AutoCAD user interface you will need to start learning how to create precise, measured 2D drawings. You'll also learn how to annotate the geometry in your designs, effectively and accurately, to communicate your design intent, using the globally recognised DWG file format. There will also be practical advice on applying your newly-learnt AutoCAD skills to your own drawings and designs, as well as the next steps you can take to learn more from other AutoCAD courses.
The course is ideal for beginners and newbies to AutoCAD who want to get started with AutoCAD to draw and create their own 2D designs. The course comes with a corresponding set of exercise files that can be downloaded and used to follow along with the lectures in the course, allowing learners to apply proof of concept to their learning.
Students will be taken through the AutoCAD interface, learning how to use the features and tools to create and develop their designs with 2D geometry, followed by how to annotate those designs precisely and accurately. Students will also learn how to plot their designs from AutoCAD into PDF files to communicate their design intent.
