Thor: Son of Asgard was a comic book series published by Marvel Comics in 2004
to 2005. It was originally a mini-series of 6 issues but was later extended to an
ongoing series that lasted for 12 issues.

The Trio Triumphant
Odin battles Karnilla, while Thor lies dead. Odin manages to defeat her and uses the magic sand from the Lake of Lilitha to restore Thor to life. He then has the sword Svadren forged from the four mystic elements and presents it to Balder the Brave.
