Thor: Son of Asgard #1-12 (of 12) Complete
12 CBR's in RAR | Marvel Comics | Released Mar 2004 - Jan 2005 | 108.94 MB Total

A 12-issue limited series published by Marvel from March 2004 through January 2005 written by Akira Yoshida and illustrated by Greg Tocchini. It was originally solicited as a 6-issue limited series but popular reception and demand caused its extension to 12 issues. It chronicles the early adventures of Thor in Asgard as a teenager along with Balder and Sif and because of this and because of the decision to drop the Old English dialogue and make the language modern and colloquial, it resonated with the public and picked up a lot of new and young fans. The series was collected and published as trade paperbacks comprising the three storylines: "The Warriors Teen" (); "Enchanted" (; and "Worthy" (). It helped cement the revitalization of the character of Thor that was jump-started by Garth Ennis and Glen Fabry in the five-issue limited series (2003), transforming him from the old-school cold and aloof Avenger of Jack Kirby to the volatile and hard-edged God of Thunder of today.
Before he claimed the throne, before he battled the dragon Fafnir, before he became worthy of mighty Mjolnir, he was simply Thor, one of many young sons of Asgard. In a saga of courage, adversity, revenge and brotherhood, Thor faces perils that will challenge his mettle as a young warrior, and trials that will test and temper his immortal spirit. Sent on a Great Quest by All-Father Odin, Thor and a fellowship of other young godlings – Balder, Sif and Loki – face their coming of age in this epic story written by celebrated manga writer Akira Yoshida and beautifully illustrated by newcomer Greg Tocchini. --
