is an American monthly black and white comic published by Image Comics beginning in 2003. The comic was created by writer Robert Kirkman and artist Tony Moore (replaced by Charlie Adlard from issue #7 onward) and chronicles the travels of a group of people trying to survive in a world stricken by a zombie apocalypse. Thus far the series has been divided into 6-issue story arcs, with issue #61 starting the 11th story arc entitled, "The Dead Do Not Stalk." I have included herein the link to the previous issues #1-60, complete.
Even after setting a new bar with , Robert Kirkman is still cutting a swath of destruction through his series. It was easy to believe nothing more terrible could happen to our heroes than what took place in issue #48. Kirkman has come close several times since, and issue #61 may be the closest yet to evoking that sickening sensation in the pit of your stomach. --
