Mike Carey () and Peter Gross (), fresh from their 75-issue--and a one-shot--multi-Eisner Award-nominated DC/Vertigo series, , reunite for the new Vertigo series, (which will feature covers by Yuko Shimizu). Carey, who is also a novelist, wrote the brilliant and imaginative Vertigo comic book series, . Issue #1, released May 13, 2009, starts a 4-issue story arc entitled, "Tommy Taylor And The Bogus Identity ."

Everyone's read the Tommy Taylor books, the popular series of novels turned pop culture phenomenon about a boy wizard's adventures.
