The Stand: Soul Survivors #2 (Of 5)

is a Marvel Comics adaptation of Stephen King's epic novel of the same name. It will ultimately consist of thirty issues divided into five story arcs. is the title of the first story arc, published from September 10, 2008 to January 28, 2009. The just-concluded second story arc, was published from March 11, 2009 to August 19, 2009. The first issue of the third story arc, entitled introduces new characters and somehow increases its pace. Issue #2 maintains the studied pace of the previous story arcs, yet somehow increasing that sense of foreboding that something really bad is going to happen. Just as impressive as the first issue and quite an introduction and a jumping point for Stephen King's epic novel. I know it's rather late but the scan just surfaced and it's a high quality Minutemen scan; issue #3 is scheduled to be released on Wednesday, December 16, 2009.
