or a was a major story arc in Marvel Comics which ran from 1994 to 1996 involving many clones of Spider-Man. The story is considered within fandom to be one of the most controversial stories ever told for Spider-Man if not in the comics industry as a whole. The story was intended to wrap up in less than a year. However, the comics sold very well and the writers were encouraged to prolong the saga as long as possible. This led to some changes to the storyline that ultimately proved unpopular. To me there's only one word to describe it: shtoo-pid. That's what happens when creativity and creative freedom is thrown out the window because of greed. is the new six-part mini-series based on the outline of the original Clone Saga. Written by Tom DeFalco and Howard Mackie, and drawn by Todd Nauck, this "writer's cut" mini-series will explore the story as it was originally conceived, and will feature the original conclusion while focusing on the basics of the original saga.
