Hack/Slash: The Series #26 (Ongoing)

is an ongoing comic books series, launched from several one shots of the same name, and published by Devil's Due Publishing. It has also been adapted into a stage play and a feature film. The ongoing series, starting as a series of one-shots, was created by writer and sometime penciller Tim Seeley. The focus of the series is on Cassie, a victom of a slasher known as the "Lunch Lady," and who also happens to be her mother. Now Cassie travels the world together with her freakish and gas mask-wearing friend Vlad, hunting down and destroying slashers wherever they find them. Issue #26 is Part 1 of the arc, "Foes and Fortunes."

Cassie and Vlad make their way into the Cedar Island Reserve, only to find they’ve entered the hunting ground of something that isn’t quite natural! Our heroes are used to taking on one slasher at a time… how will they stand up to hundreds of monsters?! Also, Chris deals with last issue’s terrifying revelation, and a new villain plots destruction at a bar in Chicago! --
